We get to do things the way that we want, including buying the gear that we want or need to run the business efficiently.

Why is it important to have a good accountant?

Jared was really helpful when we started, he’s positive and does a really good job but also leaves us to our own devices. It’s important to have a good accountant when you’re making big financial decisions and so that you don’t miss simple things like tax and compliance. Jared helps us make decisions on assets and purchases. We enjoyed running our business ideas past him to get his perspective. He also helps us keep our risk profile in check!

What’s the hardest thing about running your own business?

No one likes to pay for fixing things, especially cars - it can be tricky, but we find that good communication really helps. Recruiting staff is also difficult at the moment.

What’s next for your business?

We are starting a new business focus on vehicle safety, driver assistance, and calibration.
